Internships in Shanghai

  • Shanghai is the economic engine of China. Shanghai is modern and almost looks like the big western cities as we know it. A complaint of cultural critics is that the old authentic China is gradually disappearing as a result of modernization. Whether that is true or not is an interesting topic for a debate, but Shanghai definitely is the least Chinese of all the major Chinese cities. It's big, it's fast pace and has the same vibrant overwhelming vibe like e.g. New York.

Do you like shopping? Then you better be careful, because Shanghai is one large shopping district. Fashion stores where you can buy authentic, semi authentic and knock offs goods are scattered all over the place. And if you’re looking to party, after a long day of hard work, Shanghai will be happy to cater. The nightlife is wild and they don’t stop till the early morning. In addition, Shanghai has numerous restaurants where you can eat for a penny; you’ll find a delicious 'Chinese Oriental Dish' for a dollar.
